The mission of the Cape and Islands Suicide Prevention Coalition is to help give Cape Cod and Island communities the necessary information and tools to raise awareness, promote education, and increase action to reduce suicides.

Elder Suicide Prevention Training for Cape Cod & Island's

May 24, 2016 and June 20, 2016

Presented by The Samaritans on Cape Cod and the Islands and C.I.S.P.C. Interested participants may fill out the form provided below.



  • Foster collaborations and build a unified regional coalition with a wide array of diverse stakeholders

  • Achieve a broad impact through common goals in suicide prevention

  • Increase awareness by implementing a comprehensive, life span, public education campaign

  • Educate our regional community on suicide risk, protective factors, warning signs, and available resources

Trainings Offered by C.I.S.P.C.

​GM meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the odd months. They begin at 11:15-12:45 and are held at the Barnstable County Court complex in the HarborView Room. ALL are welcome. To become a member, send the completed form to  suicideprevention@capecoalition.com






Currently, Cape and Island's Suicide Prevention Coalition has over 75 members representing Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha's Vinyard. C.I.S.P.C. members represent:
